COVID-19 Pandemic and Implemented Strategy: In March, the COVID-19 pandemic reached the region and our country. Since the beginning, the company has maintained its strategy to contain impacts and ensure the operation of each business unit through three pillars: (i) Protecting the health and lives of all employees, (ii) Maintaining operational continuity under an austerity regime, and (iii) Adjusting planned investments for the year 2020.

Corporate Human Capital Management Formation at SalfaCorp: In July of this year, SalfaCorp established a single Corporate Human Capital Management department, consolidating these areas across all business units. This new position will report directly to the Corporate General Manager.

SalfaCorp renegotiated its syndicated loan profile with the seven participating banks from the syndicated loan signed in 2017, extending the amortization period from 3 to 5 years. The new maturity profile now extends until 2024, providing greater liquidity for the current year and 2021. This action aligns with one of the main measures implemented by SalfaCorp in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, aiming to maintain adequate financial flexibility.

Awarding of Contracts by ICSA Unit: During 2020, ICSA secured significant contracts totaling approximately $ 730,000 million, particularly in the areas of Assemblies and Underground Mining. Noteworthy among these contracts are those with Codelco, Quebrada Blanca 2, Minera Zaldívar, SQM, Minera Spence, SERVIU (DS49-format social projects in the Magallanes Region), among others.

Awarding of DS49-format social housing projects: As part of the social integration project development, during 2020, Constructora Novatec was awarded the construction of 3 DS49-format social projects, benefiting approximately 280 families in the Arica-Parinacota region. Additionally, during the year, 5 DS49-format projects were completed, delivering a total of 1,241 housing units in the Valparaíso, Metropolitan, and Maule regions.

Inmobiliaria Noval Selected for DS19-format Social Projects: In the context of subsidized housing projects, during the third quarter of the year, Inmobiliaria Noval was chosen to develop four new SERVIU social projects in DS19-format. These projects will benefit a total of 690 families in the Valparaíso and Biobío regions.

Industrial and Mutlifamily Real Estate Projects: For RDI, 2020 marked a year of profound analysis and future vision in the real estate business. The company decided to venture into multifamily and industrial real estate businesses with upcoming projects located in the municipal communities of La Florida and Pudahuel, respectively. This decision takes into account the strong expansion projected for these business models.

COVID-19 pandemic and implemented strategy. Throughout 2021, the vaccination program and booster doses yielded positive results, allowing a greater return to normalcy in construction activities, always prioritizing the health and safety of workers. By the end of the year, more than 95% of the company's workforce had received two or more vaccine doses.

Awarding of DS49-format social housing projects: As part of the Social Integration project development, in 2021, the company was awarded a total of 15 DS49-format social projects. Among these, 8 will be developed in Arica, Copiapó, Rancagua, Temuco, Osorno, and Puerto Montt, while 7 will be in the Magallanes Region. These projects will benefit approximately 3,900 families.

Launches and start of construction of real estate projects during 2021: During the year 2021, 19 new phases of real estate projects were launched for sale in the IACO unit, with a potential sale of UF 8.3 million. During the same period, construction started on 21 phases, with a potential sale of UF 10.2 million.

Participation in Global Sustainability Indices: For the first time, SalfaCorp actively participated in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), a sustainability benchmark that assesses organizations' environmental, social, and governance practices through global, regional, and country-specific indices. Additionally, the company conducted the Stakeholders Sustainability Index (SSINDEX) evaluation, involving consultations with supplier companies and subcontractors to gather their perceptions of SalfaCorp's management across various domains.

Real Estate Development Projects: In July 2021, construction began on the second Commercial Real Estate Development project, Rentas Vizcachas, expected to be completed by the second half of 2022. Four additional projects are in various stages of development, including two Commercial Real Estate projects in Quilicura and Colina, one Multifamily Real Estate project in La Florida, and another Industrial Real Estate project in Pudahuel.

Awarding of La Frontera Hydroelectric Project: In 2019, SalfaCorp, through its unit ICSA, was awarded the construction of the La Frontera Hydroelectric Project. Located on the border between the municipal communities of Los Ángeles and Mulchén in the Biobío Region, the project amounts to approximately USD 150 million (over $112,000 million CLP). Construction for this project is set to commence in mid-2020.

Management Change: In the April 2019 board meeting, Mr. Fernando Zúñiga Z. resigned from the position of chief executive officer (CEO) of SalfaCorp. In his place, the Board appointed Mr. Jorge Meruane B., who had been serving as Corporate Finance Manager up to that date. Starting June 2019, Mr. José Luis Sánchez S. assumed the role of new Corporate Finance Manager.

SalfaCorp Bonds Placement: In May, SalfaCorp issued bonds in the local market amounting to UF 1.0 million (equivalent to USD 40.5 million) with an 11-year maturity and a 3-year grace period. This transaction attracted a wide range of investors and was rated bbb with a stable outlook by Fitch Ratings and Feller Rate. The funds were primarily allocated for refinancing the company's financial liabilities and its subsidiaries.

Awarding of Subsidized Social Housing Projects: As part of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development's social integration project development in 2019, SalfaCorp was awarded the construction of over 3,500 subsidized housing units under DS49-format. These projects are distributed across the regions of Arica-Parinacota, Valparaíso, Metropolitan, O'Higgins, Los Lagos, and Magallanes.

Launches and construction commencements of real estate projects: Throughout 2019, the IACO unit launched sales for 19 phases of real estate projects with a potential sales volume of UF 7.9 million. Among these are 4 building projects with a potential sales volume of UF 3.0 million. Simultaneously, construction commencements on 17 new phases with a potential sales volume of UF 5.3 million.

IMI International Expansion: Intercoastal Marine Inc. continued its international expansion strategy in 2019, participating in several bidding processes across Central America and the Caribbean. The company secured agreements aimed at opening new markets, culminating in December with the award of a cruise terminal construction project on Stake Bank Island, located 12 kilometers off the coast of Belize City.

Altos del Parque Shopping Center Project: By the end of 2019, construction was completed on SalfaCorp's first commercial real estate project, Altos del Parque, in the commune of Peñalolén. The project encompasses 37,208 square meters, featuring a shopping center, supermarket, home improvement store, and shared area finishes and installations.

Collaborative security agreement. Safety culture. In our journey to build and consolidate a culture of safety, we signed a collaborative agreement with Safety Mutual (CCHC) and the Institute for Industrial Safety Culture of France (ICSI).

Important award of DS49-format Contest. Within the framework of the social housing program DS49-formatof Minvu's Solidarity Housing Fund, in 2018, the building unit was awarded a contest promoted by Serviu and Seremi Minvu in the Los Lagos Region, which involves the design and construction of 400 homes in the city of Osorno. The project stands out for its high thermal and energy efficiency standards, pioneering the incorporation of requirements from the atmospheric decontamination plan.

Greater dynamism in the Peruvian market. During 2018, the Peruvian market showed greater dynamism and is reflected in our Backlog in this country, which grew twice as much, reaching approximately $31,000 million.

Continued presence in the Dominican Republic. In November 2018, Intercoastal Marine Inc. was awarded the construction of the third maritime project on the island, allowing it to remain uninterrupted since 2016. On this occasion, the work is an EPC for the Port of Haina, located in Santo Domingo.

Award of the Spence Project contract to Fluor Salfa. During the third quarter of 2017, the 50/50 Joint Venture formed between SalfaCorp and Fluor Corporation was awarded an EPC contract for the "Spence Growth Option" project at BHP's Spence open pit mine in northern Chile. This alliance will be responsible for the design, construction, procurement, and integration of goods and services required to deliver a copper concentrator plant, capable of processing 95,000 tons of ore per day.

Project awards and acknowledgment in the El Teniente Division. Geovita, a leading mining development company, secured significant contracts with Codelco's El Teniente division in Rancagua. Highlighted projects include " Obras interior Mina de Nuevo Nivel Mina," " Adits de Ventilación Fase II," and " Enlace Mina Esmeralda Sur," aimed at maintaining copper production at current levels from 2022 onward for four decades. Additionally, Geovita was acknowledged for its outstanding management in 2017 in integrating technology into its processes within this division.

Aconcagua Residential Development Unit, in partnership with CrediCorp, successfully placed Fund III, raising UF 1.5 million, with demand reaching four times the placement amount. The funds will finance housing and building projects in Santiago, Viña del Mar, and Concepción over the next 7 years, focusing on socioeconomic sectors C2, C3, and D.

Award of subsidized housing projects. In the framework of social integration projects promoted by the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism, Inmobiliaria Noval was awarded 925 homes under DS-19, located in Antofagasta, Puente Alto, Villa Alemana, and Temuco in 2017. The year also saw the development of 596 homes under DS-01, divided among Cerrillos, Quinta Normal, Puente Alto, and Padre Hurtado.

Commencement of the Altos del Parque Shopping Center EPC Project. In November 2017, SalfaCorp began construction of its first commercial real estate venture under Inmobiliaria y Rentas Quilín SPA., in which it holds a 50% stake. The project will cover approximately 38,000 m2 and will be built by Constructora Tecsa, featuring a shopping center, supermarket, home improvement store, and the finishing and installation of its shared areas.

SalfaCorp’ syndicated loan for UF 2.6 million. In August 2017, SalfaCorp signed a credit agreement with 7 creditor banks, totaling UF 2,600,000. This financing aimed to extend the maturity profile of the company's financial liabilities amid low-interest rates. The main financial covenants remained unchanged from those of the syndicated loan signed in 2014.

Infrastructure works commence for Laguna del Sol. In August 2017, Laguna del Sol initiated the construction of two major projects for this mega-project: the San Ignacio underpass and Rainwater Emissary, built by construction companies ICIL Icafal and Novatec, respectively. Both projects total contracts worth UF 313,000, representing an investment of UF 215,000 for Laguna del Sol SPA.

New structure of Aconcagua Residential Development. By the end of 2016, it transitioned from being organized by geographic area to a product-based structure in three areas: High-rise buildings, Four-story houses and buildings, and subsidized housing.

New strategic partner. Fluor, a multinational company, and SalfaCorp decided to form a strategic alliance after complementarily participating in major projects in the mining sector. With this alliance, they will jointly offer a broader spectrum of engineering and construction services.
