En SalfaCorp S.A. hemos definido la innovación como un medio para agregar valor significativo, lograr
nuestros objetivos de rentabilidad e impacto, permanecer competitivos en una industria altamente fragmentada, y satisfacer las aspiraciones de nuestros clientes y usuarios. It is also a way to meet the expectations of our employees, regulators, and the social contexts where we operate. Starting by improving our operation, innovation allows us to solve problems and needs of our organization and customers in a systematic way. For this reason, our goal is to incorporate innovation into our culture and transform it into a distinctive management philosophy of SalfaCorp S.A.

- A means to add value, achieve our profitability and impact goals, remain competitive in a highly fragmented industry, and meet the aspirations of our customers and users. It allows us to solve problems and meet our business needs.
- A discipline that has an established management and development methodology, which allows us to solve challenges and meet needs around our business.
- A master plan operationalized in a roadmap that guides the company to manage its portfolio, investment, and return.
- • And a management philosophy to achieve what seems impossible to others and thus create a unique way of doing it. The challenge of innovation is to fail fast and cheaply.
Installing Capacities
To date, more than 360 employees have begun their training in innovation development techniques, through 3 development workshops that took 31 challenges from our portfolio, graduating more than 90 professionals as development leaders of the first and second advanced workshops and soon to start with another important group of collaborators a third version during the year 2024.
We currently have a portfolio of 85 innovation initiatives that add concrete value and solve existing challenges in the Company. The objective during 2024 is to start the implementation of a subset of these initiatives, both cross-cutting themes and business units, prioritizing those with the highest return and shortest execution time, in addition to starting the development of innovation through the particular challenges of each Business Line.
We hope during 2024 to increase our list of graduated innovation leaders, execute new training workshops, begin the development of innovation challenges in each unit and line of business through "hands on learning", strengthen our portfolio of challenges, continue with our cycle of construction and implementation of solution proposals, and update our Governance Framework based on the learnings acquired.
