The Organizational Development area, part of the Human Capital Management, is one of the fundamental pillars of the Company. Its objective is to maximize the potential of employees and ensure the growth and development of each of them.

Gender equality and work-life balance

Since 2022, SalfaCorp has been certified in the Chilean Standard 3262, which promotes the reconciliation of work, family, and personal life. This achievement not only represents a significant milestone in our organizational culture, but also positions SalfaCorp as a leader in the industry, being the first company in the field to obtain this certification in Chile.

What is Chilean Standard 3262?

Chilean Standard 3262 seeks to promote equality between men and women in organizations, generating a positive impact for people and their environment. To achieve this, it is proposed to implement a set of measures that promote and generate a cultural change that allows reducing gaps favoring work, family, and personal life, as well as co-responsibility within organizations.

La organización ha estado trabajando en pos de la NCh 3262 desde el 2021, certificando 15 razones sociales en 2022 y obteniendo el Sello Iguala Conciliación en 2023, una distinción gubernamental que otorga el Ministerio de la Mujer y la Equidad de Género, a las empresas que ya están certificadas en la Norma Chilena 3262.

Durante 2024, la Compañía asumió el desafío de implementar la NCh 3262 en sus proyectos. Para lograrlo, se creó un nuevo estándar, que busca alcanzar una cobertura del 100%.

La certificación tiene una vigencia de tres años, con evaluaciones de mantenimiento anuales durante ese período. Actualmente, la empresa está enfocada en obtener la re-certificación de la Norma Chilena 3262, lo que marcará el inicio de un nuevo ciclo 2025-2028, con objetivos renovados que fortalecen el camino iniciado en 2022.
