SalfaCorp S.A. develops the Engineering and Construction business through its subsidiary ICSA, which has an important diversification in areas of business and services offered, types of customers and industries, extension of contracts, in addition to geographical diversification, which represents a competitive strength in addition to mitigating operational risk.

From this Business Unit, different operating companies emerge, which differ from each other by the different construction specialties that address the construction market or by the geographical area where they develop their businesses:

Industrial assembly

It covers the execution of contracts for the assembly of industrial equipment. This type of contract is characterized by the large amount of equipment and specialized labor that the assembly company must provide, with the client being responsible for the provision of the design, engineering, and equipment to be assembled. Examples of this type of work are industrial plants, thermal and hydroelectric plants, mining plants, pulp mills, salmon farms, wine cellars, petrochemical plants, airport terminals, among others. Additionally, through this segment, value-added services such as Industrial Maintenance and Maritime Works are offered.

Servicios a la Minería

It includes specialties associated with principals in the mining industry, including
Minería Subterránea & Túneles (Underground Mining & Tunnels):
Con el fin de entregar a sus clientes un servicio integral, a partir de julio de 2008 SalfaCorp S.A. ingresó al negocio de construcción de túneles, principalmente relacionados con la explotación minera, que se potenció con la adquisición de Geovita S.A. durante 2011.
Movimientos de Tierra (Earthworks):
A través de Fe Grande, abarca grandes movimientos de tierra principalmente para la construcción de proyectos de la minería.
Perforaciones y Tronaduras (Drilling and Blasting):
A través de filial Icem S.A., SalfaCorp ofrece el servicio de perforaciones y tronaduras, actividad muy afín a clientes de la minería.

Construction

It includes specialties associated with public and private building works, mainly of a non-residential nature:
Civil Works:
It includes the execution of building works and civil works contracts for commercial or service purposes. This type of contract is characterized by the fact that the construction company provides both the labor, materials, subcontracts, and equipment necessary to execute the work designed and commissioned by the client.
Southern Zone::
It operates in the extreme area of the country offering various services associated with the construction mentioned above and additionally has a line of business of real estate development, infrastructure construction and housing projects.

International Area

The Company operates abroad offering various services associated with the construction mentioned above, being present in Peru, Panama with operations in Central America and the Caribbean.
